Why this conversation
Be infatuated with someone means to be so intensely taken with them that judgement goes; it is shorter-lived than love and often carries the speaker's disapproval ("He's infatuated with her." "She became infatuated with him."). Hussy is dated and insulting — an old slur for a woman thought to be shameless — and belongs only in period drama. Jay should quote it, never use it about a real person; the safe modern version is "He's totally crazy about her."
