Why this conversation
As an adjective, contingent on (or upon) means dependent on something that has not happened yet: "The offer is contingent on the background check." It is the formal, precise word in offers, contracts, and plans, where "depends on" sounds loose. 왜 이 대화인가
형용사 **contingent on**(또는 upon)은 아직 일어나지 않은 무언가에 달려 있다는 뜻이다.
