Why this conversation
In This one's got pickled plum, the 's is "has", not "is": "this one has got pickled plum (in it)". "Have got" is the everyday spoken way to say what something contains or what someone owns, and the contraction hides which verb it is; "This one's good" is "is", "This one's got salmon" is "has". The trap is reading every 's as "is". Pickled plum is the usual English for Japanese umeboshi, even though ume is not quite a plum.
