Why this conversation
A quantifier is a word that says how much or how many: all, both, some, many, much, few, a lot of. Which one you may use depends on the noun, so it is "many requests" but "much traffic", and a countable noun after "much" reads as an error. Do not confuse it with a qualifier, which softens a claim ("fairly", "arguably").

왜 이 대화인가

명사가 수량사를 고른다는 순서로 기억한다. "The noun chooses the quantifier, not the other way round" — 셀 수 있는지 먼저 판단하고 many/much를 정하는 습관이다.
첨삭을 받으면 그 자리에서 문장을 다시 쓴다. "I'll rewrite it as ..."로 고쳐 말하면 교정이 한 번에 몸에 붙는다.
