왜 이 대화인가
**Gloss over**는 어떤 일을 너무 짧고 매끄럽게 언급해서 그 무게가 사라지게 만드는 것이다. 거짓말이 아니라 덜 말하는 것이 문제다. 항상 목적어를 취한다. gloss over the outage, gloss over the cost처럼. 명사 gloss(간단한 주석, 광택)와 혼동하지 않아야 한다. 리뷰에서 흔히 쓰는 직설적이지만 모욕적이지 않은 표현이다.
