A junior engineer is demoing her own feature to the executives on Friday and asks Jay to sit beside her. He thinks his being at the table would send every hard question to him instead of her, and he says so over coffee in the office kitchen.
Why this conversation
To cramp somebody's style is to stop them acting as freely or as well as they would alone. It is light and friendly, often about a chaperone or one extra person in the room, and it is not a real accusation. Keep the possessive: cramp your style, cramp her style, never "cramp the style". It has nothing to do with muscle cramps.
Dialogue
Hana: Will you sit next to me on Friday? I'd feel safer.
Jay: I'd cramp your style. They'd send the hard questions to me instead of you.
Hana: I hadn't thought of that.
Jay: It's your feature. You want the room looking at you the whole time.
Hana: Will you at least be somewhere in the building?
Jay: Back row, silent. Close enough to help, far enough not to cramp your style.

소유격을 꼭 붙여 cramp your style, cramp her style이라고 하지 "cramp the style"이라고는 하지 않는다.
Hana:
Hana:
"They'd send the hard questions to me instead of you."
"Close enough to help, far enough not to cramp your style."
