In a planning meeting, Lena, the product manager, asks Jay what a self-hosted indexer for the new chain would cost for the first year. Jay has two numbers, the one-off setup and the recurring bill, and wants to give the total without hiding the split.
Why this conversation
Start-up costs are what it takes to get something running once: hardware, setup, migration. Operating costs are what it takes to keep it running every month: cloud bills, people, maintenance. When you total several items, "add up" fits better than "add", and the result "comes to" a figure: "If you add up the start-up and operating costs, it comes to 200 million won." The "it's 200 million" of the original is fine in speech but leaves the unit off; in a meeting say the currency once, and say which period the operating figure covers so the total does not get quoted without it.

협업 기법 세 가지
